O temor na tragédia / The fear in tragedy

O presente artigo argumenta que uma característica essencial da tragédia a despeito de seus desvios e retomadas no tempo, podemos encontrar a partir do enfoque psicanalítico, que, com Jacques Lacan, reivindica que no cerne do espírito trágico se encontra a veiculação da verdade do desejo do sujeito que se revela na tragédia em seu caráter puro, purificado de toda ordem imaginária, por intermédio da purgação das paixões do temor e da piedade de que nos fala Aristóteles. Investiga no que viria a consistir a purificação do temor na tragédia. Para essa abordagem, trabalha com a tragédia Antígona de Sófocles, por ser no comentário dessa peça, no seu seminário de 1959-60, A Ética da Psicanálise, que podemos encontrar uma significativa abordagem da problemática do temor nessa tragédia, feita por Lacan. Verifica que no seu seminário sobre As psicoses, alguns anos antes de seu comentário sobre Antígona, Lacan nos deixa de legado outro elemento significativo para a maior precisão do que viria a ser o temor na tragédia de Antígona, no ponto em que ele nos fala sobre a coragem e o temor, a partir da tragédia Atália de Jean Racine. Nessa direção, o artigo aborda a referida tragédia, mesmo sem a mesma dimensão da abordagem da tragédia de Antígona, por essa última ser o fio condutor desse artigo. O artigo argumenta que a abordagem do temor em Antígona deve ser pensada a partir da abordagem do temor em Atália e verifica, nessa direção, a importância da noção de autoridade nessa problemática.

This article argues that an essential characteristic of tragedy, in spite of its deviations and time resumptions, can be found from a psychoanalytic perspective which, with Jaques Lacan, claims that the vehicle for the truth of the subject's desire can be found within the core of the tragic spirit, which is revealed through the tragedy in its pure sense, purified from all imaginary order by means of the purge of passions of fear and pity, about which Aristotle speaks. The article investigates what the purification of fear in tragedy is all about. For this approach, we work with Sophocles' tragedy, Antigone, since it is in the comments on this play, in Lacan's lecture of 1959-60, The Psychoanalysis' Ethics that we can find a significant approach to the problematics of fear in this tragedy. In his lecture on The Psychoses, some years before his comment on Antigone, Lacan leaves us another significant element as a legacy. When he talks about courage and fear from Jean Racine's tragedy Atalia, this element would explain what fear in Antigone would be. In this sense, this article approaches the aforementioned tragedy, even without the dimension of the approach to the tragedy of Antigone for it is the basic line of thinking of this article. It is also argued that the approach to fear in Antigone must be thought of from the approach to fear in Atalia and, in this direction, the importance of the notion of authority in this problematic is verified.

Identidade do policial militar e dinâmica cultural / The military policeman identity and cultural dynamics

Este estudo teve como principal objetivo analisar como o etos da Policia Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro/PMERJ influencia e modifica a subjetividade dos policiais militares e de que forma essas modificações podem se manifestar como alterações na saúde destes sujeitos, abordando especificamente uma forma grave de adoecimento psíquico, que é o Transtorno do Estresse Pós-Traumático. Buscou-se compreender a imagem que o policial faz de si mesmo, assim como a imagem que a sociedade faz da corporação PMERJ, a partir de um resumo histórico desta corporação, desde a sua criação até os dias de hoje. Dentro da perspectiva de compor uma imagem do policial militar a partir de dentro e de fora, a autora relatou sua experiência como psicóloga e militar atuando dentro de uma unidade operacional, revelando um pouco mais desse universo particular militar.

This study aimed to analyze in which way the ethos of the Rio de Janeiro State Military Police (PMERJ) influences and changes the subjectivity of military policemen, and how these changes are manifested as alterations in those people’s health, mainly approaching an acute form of psychic illness, the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. It tried to understand the image the military policeman makes of himself, as well as the image society makes of PMERJ,based on a historical summary of the corporation, since its creation up to the present time. Within the perspective of forming an image of the military policeman from inside and outside,the author narrates her experience as psychologist and military, working in an operational unit, thus unveiling a little more about the particular military universe.
